EXCLUSIVE<\/strong>: Actress Liv Tyler has signed with CAA.<\/p>\n The move comes just a few months after the conclusion of principal photography on Captain America: Brave New World<\/em>, the superhero flick marking her return to the MCU which will have her reprising her role as scientist Betty Ross. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tyler first played the part in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk<\/em> and stars here opposite Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, and Harrison Ford. A continuation of Disney+’s miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em>, which saw Mackie’s Sam Wilson assume the mantle of Captain America, the film directed by Julius Onah is currently scheduled for release July 26, 2024.<\/p>\n Most recently seen starring opposite Brad Pitt in James Gray’s sci-fi drama Ad Astra<\/em>, Tyler began acting at the age of 16 and made her film debut with Warner Bros’ 1994 psychological thriller Silent Fall<\/em>. <\/p>\n She then went on to star in such films as James Mangold’s Sundance prize-winning directorial debut Heavy<\/em>, Bernardo Bertolucci’s Tuscan coming-of-age drama Stealing Beauty<\/em>, Armageddon<\/em>, Peter Jackson’s behemoth Lord of the Rings<\/em> trilogy, which won a Critics Choice Award for Best Acting Ensemble, as well as a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, and the dramedy Empire Records<\/em>. Other film credits include That Thing You Do!<\/em>, Lonesome Jim<\/em>, Onegin<\/em>, and Jersey Girl<\/em>.<\/p>\n In television, Tyler has starred on Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star<\/em>, HBO’s acclaimed Damon Lindelof drama The Leftovers<\/em> with Justin Theroux and Christopher Eccleston, the BBC historical drama Gunpowder<\/em> opposite Kit Harington, and the Hulu\/ITV production Harlots<\/em>.
