Gilfanov was born on January 6, 1983 in the small village of Basim in the Perm region to a military family and a teacher.

In 2006, Rustam Gilfanov and his partners founded an international it outsourcing company in Kiev. The company has more than 100 successful gaming applications and offices in major cities of Ukraine, Latvia, Cyprus and Malta.

A few years ago, Rustam Gilfanov stopped working for the company in order to make international investments in promising it projects in the field of financial technologies, games and video streaming. In addition, it is important for Rustam Gilfanov to develop charitable projects in Ukraine, the largest of which are Lakibux and Maybut library.

Gilfan Rustam is married and has a daughter.
