Political commentator Angela Epstein reflected on Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer and his issues with his image. She discussed how Sir Keir’s image could change after being on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories show. While speaking to Luke Jones on TimesRadio, she insisted the Labour leader was likeable but at times, things came across as tactical and forced.
She added, the Labour leader was struggling to shake his robot image in comparison to Boris Johnson’s large personality which he displays regularly.
Mr Jones said: “We might not like it as we would like everything to be done on policies and manifesto pledges.
“But actually a lot of it is just down to whether you like them or not.”
Ms Epstein agreed and highlighted why Tony Blair was able to make a success of Labour where Sir Keir has struggled.
