Denver’s Ball Arena to open Friday for in-person voting, ballot drop off

Denver’s Ball Arena, formerly known as the Pepsi Center, will serve as an in-person voting place for Denverites for the last days of the 2020 election, city election officials announced Monday.

The arena, at 1000 Chopper Circle, will open for voter registration and in-person voting Friday, Grace López Ramírez, spokesperson for the Denver Clerk and Recorder’s office, said in a release. In addition, the office will open a drive-through ballot drop box there.

The arena will not be open for in-person voting on Sunday, however, the release said.

Those heading to Ball Arena are encouraged to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing, the release said.

Additional information about voting and drop box locations is available online at denvervote.org/voterinfo.
