Boris Johnson held a coronavirus briefing on Thursday evening to update the nation on the progress being made on the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine. The Prime Minister said that an estimated 1.26 million people in England have been vaccinated against coronavirus with a total across the UK being just shy of 1.5 million. However, Mr Johnson was forced to respond to the riots that occurred by Donald Trump fans on Capitol Hill following a question BBC’s Alex Forsyth.

Mr Johnson said: “I believe it was completely wrong, what Donald Trump has been saying about the election has been completely wrong.”
