World Market Trends At 6 A.M. ET

Markets oscillated as lingering pandemic pain as well as optimism on Omicron pulled sentiments in either direction. Asian equity markets mostly declined. European stocks are however rallying. American stock futures are hesitant at the flatline. The Dollar has weakened a tad. Bond yields remain high in anticipation of interest rate hikes. Oil prices slumped after OPEC+ stuck to its output hike decision. Gold gained slightly amidst a moderate retreat by the dollar. Cryptocurrencies recovered. Bitcoin is up almost half a percent.
