World Market Trends At 6 A.M. ET
Here is a snapshot of the global markets across stocks, currencies, bonds, commodities and cryptocurrencies.
Positive earnings updates pushed valuations higher eclipsing anxieties surrounding CPI data release from U.S., tensions in Ukraine etc. Asian stocks finished with gains. European stocks are trading in deep positive territory. American stock futures too portend gains on opening. Dollar Index declined. Bond yields eased across tenors and major regions. Resumption of talks with Iran and the prospect of oil supplies from Iran pushed crude prices lower, despite data that showed drop in inventories in the U.S. Gold stayed close to the flat-line as interest rate hike expectations spiked the opportunity costs of holding the non-yield bearing yellow metal. Cryptocurrencies moved mixed.
