Vegas is one tough team to figure out. They barely beat Ottawa in a shootout and then go into Pittsburgh and shutout the Penguins 3-0 with relative ease.

Philadelphia started off the season 2-0, but has struggled in their last four games – garnering just one OT loss in that span. Lines have been shuffled back, forth and all over the place. The low point may have been the home loss to Dallas over the weekend.

Golden Knights at Flyers: Projected starting goalies

Oscar Dansk vs. Carter Hart

Dansk is making his season debut for the Vegas Golden Knights. He was 3-0 with a 1.78 goals-against-average and .946 save percentage two seasons ago when Marc-Andre Fleury was hurt.

Hart, the young Philadelphia starter, has endured some tough times the past few starts. He has one overtime loss in his last three games, while yielding nine goals in his previous 53 shots faced. Philadelphia has had some fundamental breakdowns in front of him but part of it is teams are figuring out Hart’s tendencies. Low shot-volume seems to be hurting the goalie.

Moneyline : The Flyers (+105) are our surprise play of the night, as they will face Dansk now. This only heightens the play. New to sports betting? Bet $10 to take home $10.50 in profit with a Philadelphia win.

Spread : With both teams playing inconsistent hockey, the spread should be avoided.

Over/Under : The OVER 5.5 (-150) is worth a small wager on a high projection.
