Brexit deal could come by end of week, BBC reporter says
LONDON, Nov 6 (Reuters) – The United Kingdom and European Union might have made enough progress to push the button on a deal by the end of the week, BBC Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg said on Tuesday.
“Ministers told be ready for another cabinet meeting, maybe even at end of this week, because there might be enough movement by then to push button on a deal,” she said on Twitter.
She added: “Some ministers did urge PM to be hardline on need for limit to backstop + ability for UK to get out of it on its own, but was no big confrontation.” (Reporting by Guy Faulconbridge; editing by Stephen Addison)
