Tesco spotted selling huge tubs of Quality Street for £1.25
Christmas might be well and truly over, but that doesn’t mean the food has to be. Especially as Tesco are still selling loads of their seasonal treats for some of the cheapest prices we’ve ever seen.
The supermarket giant’s huge 698g tubs of Quality Street are now an insane £1.25, as Tesco looks to get rid of its excess festive stock before Easter.
Originally spotted by bargain hunters on deals forum hotukdeals after one excited shopper saw the discount tubs for sale on Tesco shelves in Holyrood, Edinburgh.
So far there’s been sightings on the cheap tin in Huntley, Scotland, as well as in Rainham and Romford in Essex, and also in Slough.
While the deal is available nationwide, it’s only in selected stores who still have stock left after Christmas, so you may want to to phone up your local store and double check before heading out.
And if the comments are anything to go by, it seems to be luck of the draw, with some commenters going home empty handed, and others coming home with the serious bargain.
One user on the platform said ‘Nice one! Had few these last year. Same price. Long dates on them too. Did for Easter gifts’ while another said ‘I got a tub of Celebrations for £1.25 in Port Glasgow this morning. All gone now though.’
Sadly, there’s nothing on the website to indicate a deal, with Tesco only currently stocking the 300g pack on its site for £3.
